A warm welcome to you. I am Yasmin Darling. I work to create positive and impactful change, to support and advance the rights of neurodivergent/disabled people in theory and in practice through consultancy and advocacy.
I am passionate about working with educational settings, organisations, individuals, families and more to empower, educate, advocate and change-make to advance the life opportunities and observe the rights of neurodivergent/disabled people, individually, collectively and systemically, through consultancy and advocacy.
You may be an organisation looking to roll out a policy that supports neurodivergent/disabled people.
You may be an education provider wanting to shift your culture and remain up to date and informed in line with your EDI commitments.
You may be a parent of a neurodivergent/disabled child who is struggling with the education system and/or experiencing discrimination, going through the EHCP process, or experiencing another challenge you need support with.
However you need to move forward, I am committed to working diligently to support you every step of the way to navigate through to the outcome you need.
My consultancy and advocacy work is rooted in a strengths-based, rights-focused approach that is respectful, anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive. I carry out my work with professionalism, humour, commitment and warmth, and always in a neurodivergent-affirming way.
